stayed 2 nights with 2 young children and my 83 year old mother. nothing exceptional about the hotel apart from the best breakfast of our 10 days in Austria. Also, it's an easy walk from the Mirabell gardens and the train station. Would stay again if required but could just as easily go somewhere else. more

The hotel (and it's parking) was a little difficult to find due to construction. Once located, it seemed pretty nice at first look. The woman at reception was nice and allowed us to store our bags until check in. Our room was quite dirty upon arrival. There was dust and hair on the floor in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The location was great, close to the train station and an easy walk to the Old City and all the sights. However, the beds were uncomfortable, the room resembled a dormitory room (not in a good way), no style, no charm, no decor whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was good. This hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the main railway station and a 10 minute walk to Mirabella Gardens. In terms of convenience, it was quite good. However, the constant noise of freight trains throughout the night was very disturbing. Our room was tired and not what I would consider spotlessly clean. more
