This is a wonderful hotel in the center of Old Salzburg. We stayed in the apartment that had a master bedroom with bath, a living room with comfy bed and sofa bed, another 1/2 bath and a kitchen. We had a great time at the ente. We arrived early and the lady working the desk let us stash our bags until the room was ready. She works very hard to make sure everyone is happy. You can't beat the location for seeing the old part of the city. I would definitely stay again. more

Arriving is a bit confusing as there is a restaurant on the ground floor, and no real sign of the hotel (separate businesses). Salzburg is incredible and staying @ Hotel Goldene Ente made it that more enjoyable. Location was perfect and the personel were very helpful. The airlines lost our luggage and Franziska and Ulrike were great in trying to get it back. Even though we didnt get it back for 7 days, we had a great time in Salzburg for 4 days... more
