Oh my, what a truly wonderful experience- a perfect ending to a holiday with friends in Poland and Austria. We stayed two nights in the Hotel Sacher Salzburg but wished it was longer (or that we could move in!). Having stayed in some "interesting" establishments in Poland (Warsaw, Krakow and Zakopane), this hotel was a welcome oasis of luxury and... more

Hotel Sacher is beautiful with nice amenities in the room. Not too easy for business in the smaller room if you want to use a computer and sit at your desk, but if you are not working, then no problem. The bed was very comfortable. I ate in the cafe a few times, and the food is decent (especially the... more

I came to explore the city and a friend recommended me the Sacher. It was an excellent choice. Besides all the top end amenities and services it was the spirit that impressed me the most. Knowing that some of the finest opera stars as Domingo or Montserrat Caballé have stayed there was very inspiring for me as true admirer of... more

Had a two bedroom suite for family of four. We stayed for 3 nights and were not dissapointed.... ideal location on the river.... a stone throw away from the historical town.... and obviously great views.... specially, that we had a balcony Parking is not provided on the facility, so we parked in a public facility less than 10 minutes on... more

My husband and I travel to Europe every March and this was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. We had a superior room which was beautiful and luxurious with a river view and balcony. Soon after arrival a bottle of champagne and a tray of fruits and sweets were delivered to our room. The Staff was excellent and even... more

Great location for site seeing, shopping and restaurants. Beautifully decorated rooms, with excellent service. We loved the little piece of Sacher Torte placed in our rooms with the turndown service. We had two rooms side by side. Rooms very spacious. more

Although we only stayed two nights the hotel was excellent in quality and style and deserves to be classed as it is as a top hotel. We had a superior room overlooking the river and although not so big the size was adequate and very nicely furnished and decorated. All the staff we met were exceptionally friendly and eager to... more

We moved to Sachers after a truly awful night at the Bristol, across the road - do not stay at the Bristol (I have written a review explaining why). The reception at Sachers could not have been more helpful when we asked for a room at such short notice. Our room was a deluxe double on the 1st floor with... more

We spent New Years in the Sacher and it was amazing. Salzburg is such a lovely city and over the perfect holiday get away. We booked the New Years dinner, which was delicious and the entertainment program including a dance next to the Salzach river with the city's firecracker show an absolute highlight. Rooms were spacious and beautifully designed. Loved... more

As Salzburg offers a wide selection of hotels the choice wasn't easy to stay, especially with a family of four including two toddlers. But gladly friends recommended us the Sacher which turned out to be the best choice after all! Our room was spacious and with all modern comforts such as cable tv and individual adjustable air conditioning and family... more
