Mostwastl is the best place we stay on our annual tour of Europe (or on my annual tour of Europe - I bring a different group of students and parents each year). It's affordable for a group used to hostels, but it is classy, spacious, and friendly. more

This hotel is a wonderful breath of fresh air. You are 10 minutes away from Salzburg by car but feel like you are taking in the experience of having the Alps in your backyard. We stayed here in April 2007. The atmosphere was unbelievable with a beer garden that was alive with activity but the evenings were quiet and relaxing.... more
