Hotel Scherer is quite a comfortable clean place with modern amenities. The bathrooms are very clean which is very important. We stayed here for five nights in January of 2006. It is a small family run hotel near the RR station. It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown. A bus stop is about a block away.
