Quite agree with previous reviewers: everythhing is just right with this hotel: service is attentive, rooms don't look expensive but are tasteful and comfortable, the view is fantastic, breakfast too etc. A small spa would be nice, otherwise can't recommend this place enough. NB: location is not central but you can get there in 5-10 minutes by taxi (8 euros.)... more

Really beautiful little hotel, a boutique hotel. The owner loves decorating and has great taste. Very well furnished and very clean. Great view from the hotel of the fortress and the breakfast is very good too. It is a wonderful getaway from city life yet it has public transport available at about 10 mins walking distance. This is a gorgeous hotel on the outskirts of Salzburg. A car would be handy to get to it (we hired a car at the airport) although there is a bus that runs to the village and from there it is probably a 5-7 minute walk. This hotel is a true gem, nestled at the top of a road with... more

We are: a couple of twenty-something Americans visiting Salzburg for the very first time. Garni Villa Pace was: a beautiful dream and more than we could have hoped for!
