Wonderful stay four of us in a family group we were looked after from the moment we stepped over the threshold to the moment we left.cheap bus fare into city 1.4 euros and every 20 mins too. great breakfast, warm cosy large rooms spotlessly clean with good views. We stayed at The Bloberger Hof 24th - 26th Nov 2007 for 2 nights, we booked directly and paid around £60 per room per night, I think there is a cheaper room category though. Average place but be prepared to do some walking! Missed access to the city and the major sights. Salzburg is such a wonderful city, but it's hard to get around from the Bloberger Hof as busses don't go 24/7. Wished the staff would have been more knowledgeable in English and the rooms more spacious and comfortable. more
