Our small but beautiful family-run 3-star hotel just outside of the Mozart city of Salzburg is surrounded by nature, yet is only 5 km from the historic centre. The main sights of Salzburg can be reached within 15 minutes by bus. Our stylishly furnished rooms offer great views of the Untersberg mountain or the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Enjoy a tasty dinner in our restaurant and let the day come to an end with a glass of wine in a friendly atmosphere. The hotel offers you the chance to relax and recharge your batteries, but is an ideal starting point for many sights as well.

Hotel's Favourite
We loved this hotel! Every single detail, whether it is rooms, hallways, sitting areas, the pool, or restaurant, is a gem. A place to relax- truly. We returned every night for dinner at Bloberger because food was quite good, freshly made, and it felt right to spend a quiet evening gazing at the mountains and soaking in the tranquility of the surrounding area. We stayed at the two level room, which was perfect for us. It had 1.5 bathrooms, cozy balcony, large master bath room, and good size rooms on both levels. We took the bus to get to the center of Salzburg, about 10-15 minutes ride, very convenient, and used the city pass that covered bus rides, some museums, and a boat tour. Thank you!

We stayed at the Bloberger Hof for four nights and checked out just a couple of days ago. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Our booking was made around two months ago and Sylvia handled it perfectly, even making some excellent suggestions which made us reschedule our trip in order to be able to visit the Christmas markets in Salzburg. Can’t thank her enough for that. Our check in was done efficiently by Christina, explaining everything that was necessary. The hotel/pension is lovely and has a homely feel and warmth to it which we loved. The rooms are adequately sized, bathrooms are well appointed and clean, breakfast is good and the overall feel of the place is very positive. Coming back to the hotel after long days of sightseeing was something we looked forward to and adorable Snoopy being there to greet us made it all the more special. We had dinner twice at their restaurant and the food was excellent and prices were in-line with similar restaurants in Austria. The Beef goulash was absolutely kickass. The location of the hotel ensures that you can drive to the city center in exactly 12 mins. Very convenient. Sylvia and family ensured that we had a great time and would love to go there again.

A little classic Austrian hotel - family style. It is situated in the outskirts of Salzburg and very close to the highway, so a very convenient place for a stop-over. Rooms are nice - some with a balcony - and it is very quiet. Bed quality is fine. Bathroom also fine. Prices are very acceptable. We can fully recommend this place.

Simply fabulous! We loved everything about this beautiful spot. Our room was clean & spacious with a stunning mountain view out our window/balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It was so nice to start the day sitting on the patio, loving the view and planning our day. It was a very warm few days while we were visiting and I was very happy to find a fan in the closet. And after longs days of sightseeing, it was nice to have a quiet, peaceful place to return to. It was very easy to get into the heat of town by bus. The owners answered all of our questions about how to get to the laces we wanted to go. Wonderful hosts! Would highly recommend Hotel Bloberger Hof!

We spent 4 nights in this delightful family-run pension as part of a one month trip to Europe. We intentionally wanted a place outside the city, with a more relaxed feel, and Blobergerhof was more than perfect. The family-owned and operated sense was a really nice dimension to the experience. Our room was basic but super clean and comfortable with a small balcony. The pension is on the edge of Salzburg, kind of a mix between farms and suburb. The breakfasts were very generous, and our one evening meal was excellent. The rooms like most pensions are not air conditioned, but an open window and fan were just fine and felt great with the fresh air. A few of the rooms face roadside (not a main road though) so a little traffic sound from that but still was not an issue, particularly not at night - was quiet. The outdoor pool looks new and is a nice place to relax. One day we rode the e-bikes south through small villages to Hallain and discovered the Franz Gruber museum and church about his composing the Christmas carol “Silent Night” - fascinating! The bus into Salzburg worked very easily, super convenient, even for persons not used to using public transport - just 20 minutes into the heart of Salzburg. All in all this is a great choice for an interesting and peaceful stay in a beautiful city.

Lovely family run hotel on the outskirts of Salzburg. Friendly welcome (their English is much better than our German!) and quiet, comfortable room with balcony and safe parking for our car. We had their romantic dinner for two which was a 3 course set menu which was probably the best meal that we have had so far on our 6 week European trip and great value. The breakfast was also excellent and could be taken inside the restaurant or outside. There are bicycles available at the hotel and plenty of cycle lanes (some combined with footpaths) so easy and safe to use. You can also borrow E-bikes for a small additional charge. A bus stop is at the end of the road and just over 2 Euro takes you into the centre of Salzburg - the ' SalzburgMobil' app is probably the best way to pay for the tickets and for bus times. Their new outdoor pool was completed and opened while we were there and has naturally filtered freshwater pool - it was a bit on the cool side but refreshing when enjoying time on the decking. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay here! Our rooms were beautiful and quiet, and had balconies with gorgeous views. The breakfast was perfect, everything you could want was available. Eggs were made to order and teapots (or coffee) were brought to your table - indoor or at a sunny table outside. Staff was very hardworking and friendly. We also had dinner here one night and it was one of the top meals of our trip. The white asparagus soup was especially delicious! It is a 10 min drive to the city center, so we had to drive in and find parking each day. But, it was well worth the short drive to stay in the beautiful countryside at this charming, small hotel.

Wonderful hotel which seems so authentically Austrian. You can tell it’s a family-run establishment, with excellent service and care. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-appointed, and very quiet. There was free parking, and even bike rentals for those interested. It was recommended that we buy a Salzburg City pass to use for admission into numerous attractions in Salzburg, and I highly recommend doing that. We opted not to eat breakfast in the restaurant, but we did have dinner here, and we recommend that as well. Overall an excellent experience, and we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for three nights during our stay in Austria. Great location for visiting Salzburg, the Eagles Nest. and Hallstadt. Plenty of free parking and wonderful kind hosts. Room was clean and spacious. Great water pressure and lots of hot water.Decent spread for breakfast including made to order eggs (would be nice for a little change every now ans agian...pancakes, waffles, etc), lots of choices of meats, breads, cereal, and granola. If you want to have dinner here make sure you book in advance. I found the beds to be very hard (seems more the norm here) to the point of being a little uncomfortable. We would still recommend and go back if in are.
