There are good things and bad things about this hotel. It is not terribly close to the train station (not walking distance with suitcases anyway), but it is in a nice part of town with loads of shops and cafes nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's bar is very pleasant. There was no tea/coffee making facility... more

While in general I agree with the good reviews about the friendly staff, and great location, my wife and I were there with friends Sept 2009. The weather was not overly warm, but it was 70s during the day. At some point during the night the hotel shut the Air Conditioning off leading to a very uncomfortable couple of nights.... more

The staff here are very warm & friendly. The hotel is of a good standard and clean, with everything you need for a weekend trip, which was the length of the stay. Wow what a location to be. Right in the heart of the city. Rooms are very big and we loved the separate bathrooms. Breakfast is equally good. Front desk very heplful and cordial. Minibar is a lil expensive. more
