Zur Tenne should not be classified as a 5 star hotel --- but off-season, the price is right and some of the staff are very helpful. The bathroom in our room had a terrible odor and this was one of the “newly renovated rooms”. It did not look or feel newly renovated. Make note of the fact that the hotel... more

This hotel was wonderful, the location is perfect, right on the main street. The room was large & well appointed, the decor was very Austrian! The breakfast was excellent & staff were helpful. Kitzbuhel is a lovely town, although in May many places are closed. We ate at the Barrique Restaurant, opposite the Museum, which had excellent pizza. more

We decided to head to Kitzbuhel on a whim (when our stay in Hallstadt turned into a bummer)...and we were so glad we did!!! Since it was off-season, we were able to get a room for two nights last minute. The staff was amazing. "We'll take care of it" was their literal response to everything. The room was huge, well... more

We were one family in a group of 12 people, just returned from the Hotel Zur Tenne. We had an absolutely perfect holiday - even though the snow was not what it could have been. We were treated very well by the staff at the Zur Tenne - both the adults and the children. Our room (number 308) was beautiful... more

Last October I attended a wedding of an old friend in the romantic little town of Kitzbuehl. I booked the hotel in which the wedding took place. It was a lovely experience, the staff looked after us very well, from check-in to check-out. Nothing was too much hazzle for them, not even that some guests only had breakfast when the... more

Charming, rustic but rooms in need of refurbishment. Spa is inadequate (and masseur had BO). "Business centre" is a joke - it consists of one computer and they will send you to another hotel down the road to use the printer. You would expect to have better facilities for EUR 310 per night!! Otherwise, staff were very courteous and the... more

The hotel is extraordinarily beautiful! The best choice down town! We were upgraded and had a junior suite! I often stay in 5* hotels. Well, this was definitely a 5* hotel! Amazing breakfasts! Excellent staff! more

Having decided to combine our wedding with a ski holiday (!) we couldn't find a better place to stay, and to party, than the Zur Tenne. The staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms are charming, the banqueting facilities ideal for eating, drinking, dancing and generally having a great time and the location near to the Hahnenhamm lift and in the... more

Fantastic location on one of the most picturesque streets in Kitzbuhel. Although our room overlooked the main street there was no noise at all thanks to the double glazing. Lovely breakfast buffet with a great choice of hot and cold food. A great spa area to relax in after a day on the ski slopes with whirlpools, steam room and... more
