Neilson are obviously doing something right. The staff all seemed very happy to be working there, and that happiness rubs off on the guests too. The room - Filthy dirty, tiny, noisy. Arrived to find used tissues and toenail on the floor, human hair in the bedding. Filthy carpet. Curtains hanging off rails, sockets hanging off the wall. hotel was tatty but at least it was clean i think this was because the cleaning staff were local women and not staff. Food there was plenty of it nothing gourmet but good food. The hotel is Neilson run staff are very helpfull the hotel is very tired room 108 which i had was very cold none of the showers run at a warm enough temprature bordering on luke warm to cold buying the lift passes through Neilson was of no benefit easier to go to the gondolas as was hire of kit .... more

Tired and a bit sad sums up The Tyrol. It is clean though and both Neilson and cleaning staff were extremely helpful and polite.
