I spent a week here on a business trip to Vienna. The hotel was consistent with my expectations of the Mercure brand. Unsurprising, distinctly average and bland.
The rooms are furnished in a classical style but seem to be slightly uncomfortable in most ways.
Given the choice I would not stay here again. I much prefer something cleaner more modern...

I stayed for 2 days at the Biedermeier, conveniently located to visit Vienna, within walking distance of the CAT station (the fast train from the airport). Free internet in the lobby, but not in the room (only for a fee there), room size was ok, very quiet. Nice breakfast (was included in my rate), friendly staff. Will stay there again...

The hotel has a lot of potential, for example good location, close to city center, and public transport or a unique feature - closed "street" in which it is located. On the other hand everything else is box standard. Maybe the rooms could be nicer, mine had a weird smell.

The hotel has quite a good location near the public transport and within walking distance to the city centre (about 20 minutes). The rooms badly need painting. The breakfast is assorted but quite expensive (18 EUR).

This hotel is centrally located, close to Stadt park. You can easily walk to the pedestrian zone around Kaerner stasse. The rooms are somehow smaller but ok. If you travel by car they have a parking garage which is extra charge. The breakfast is nice, the staff friendly.
