When we first reached the building in which the Hotel is situated I was worried - but when we got to our room we were delighted! Spent 4 nights here. Very large room with old world charm plus comfort. We just loved it and would gladly stay there again. Very handy location, nice breakfasts and great staff. more

This is a true gem of a hotel. Don't be put off by the entrance....real grubby. THis not a luxury hotel, but the combination of its location very close to the opera and te price of rooms - much better value than the 'standard' hotels in Vienna, makes it very worthwhile. The Pension Suzanne is located only 100m from the State Opera which is the centre of Vienna. It is 2 minutes walk to the Opera, main tourist sites, metro underground and main shopping area. Very nervous about booking this pension mainly because of location in central Vienna and ability to drive and park there. Following very positive TA reviews and an excellent e-mail exchange with Michael in terms of parking etc the GPS got us there in one piece. Soon discovered that parking is not an issue.
