The room we had smelled smoky and the A/C didn't work. When we called the front desk, they got us quickly into another room where the A/C did work. Room still smelled smoky but at least it was cool. Even though this hotel is nonsmoking, everyone smokes a lot in Europe and probably smoked in these rooms, too. We found... more

On our first trip to Vienna we needed an inexpensive hotel. Hotel Eurostars - booked online with Expedia - proved to be a very good choice and great value for money. The hotel is located outside the city centre in a not particularly attractive area - bit run down - but we never felt unsafe. The building outside was not... more

This hotel was great, the staff were extremely helpful and very efficient and attentive. The tram stop is right outside the hotel with a short trip into the city centre (about 8 mins). There is an indoor swimming pool which is lovely after a hard day's sightseeing. The only let down (very minor) is that there was no shower, only... more

The hotel is an excellent choice. The people/stuff were very friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was just perfect. The hotel was renovated in 2006 and everything looks so clean and shinny. Rooms were clean, quite and spacious. Access to the hotel is quite easy, coming from the airport you take the CAT train service which will take... more

The Hotel is not in a central location, but it is very easily reached by the excellent public transport on offer. Besides......the hotel was such reasonable value....about 55 pounds for a double per night....you would struggle to get such a nice hotel in a city in Britain for that price. Tram 44 stops just outside the hotel. For going into... more

Just a little bit out of the center. Good public transportation from the hotel to the rest of Vienna. Walkable distance to the center if you are able (20 min.). Hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Don't pay to much. You can book a doublle room for € 75/night incl. breakfast. A very very good breakfast. The... more

The hotel is some distance from the centre of Vienna and all the sights that you will want to see so although trams and the metro are close, you will spend a fair bit of time getting to and from the heart of things. The heating controls in the room were random, most of the time sweltering hot and the... more

Just returned from a four night stay in this hotel. The rooms were nice if slightly basic - a bit like an English Travelodge hotel. The bathroom was quite nice (small bottles of shower gel provided, spare toothbrush and toothpaste, soaps, hairdryer etc and anything else available on request). The bed was comfortable, lots of channels on the television (only... more
