The Kaiserhof is well situated at 50 meters from Wiedner Hauptstrasse, five minutes walk from Karlskirche and less than ten minutes walk from the Ring. Three frequent tramlines along the Wiedner Hauptstrasse help to travel around Vienna. The hotel is very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The staff is sometimes a bit "cold" but... more

A nice hotel in a very good position - 10 minutes walking distance from the down town. Quiet (but almost ugly) side street, very good breakfast. No parking space, a vallet service to park. We have prepaid our stay and got the better rate, so the value was quite good. more

Nice, charming hotel, well located (not in city center) but within 5 min walking distance. Very clean and quite rooms, friendly and helpfull staff, beautiful breakfast with perfect service (better than in some 5 star hotels in Vienna). My choice for further visits to Vienna. more

Very nice location for this hotel. Suites are brand new, the view over Wien rooftops is great. Breakfast is a weak point, service for breakfast is not well managed, difficult to find a clean and dressed table, omelet made of powdered eggs, not very efficient and well managed part of the hotel. more

We found the staff always courteous, helpful and friendly. There was no ironing board or tea making facilities in our room when we arrived so I asked at reception. By the time we had returned from a short walk, these items were installed in our room. The room was a good size with very comfortable beds, the breakfast was excellent... more

Nice hotel with incredible breakfast which included smoked salmon and unlimited bottles of Proseco. Location was decent / close to Nauschmarkt. Our room was spacious with a modern bathroom. The only drawback was the lack of A/C. more

Go for this hotel! Nice rooms, rather small, but clean and comfortable! Great breakfast, nice people. The hotel is actually 5 minutes away from the Ring, 3 minutes away from the subway - a little bit strange area if traveling after 11 o'clock pm, but no incident occurred, there were policemen everywhere, so... All in all, a good option if... more

We paid 175 euros/night through 'hotels.com' for a junior suite (room 602). We were located on the top floor with a rooftop view over the city and of Karlskirche. Although the room lacked the ceiling height and period detail of the rooms on lower floors, it was a good trade to get the extra day light. The hotel has had... more

We had a minor problem when arriving at the hotel with our reservation, and, in order to amend it, we were welcomed in our room with a champagne bottle. That was a really great "thank you" from the staff of the hotel for the misunderstanding there was with our reservation. Very special thanks are for Frau Eva, at the reception,... more

A super hotel. The staff are very friendly & helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. The room (standard double) was a decent size, and joy of joys for anyone tall, the bed was BIG with a good mattress!! Incidentally, the room had a flat screen telly with Premiership football. Not the reason why you visit Vienna, but... more
