I can't say enough good things about this hotel....especially the staff. They were so incredibly helpful to my mother and I during her first European trip. Our room was spotless and well appointed. My Mom and I stayed at the wonderful Art Hotel from Oct. 8 - 15th, 2007. I enjoyed the hotel location in a working class neighbourhood. There is a grocery store nearby called "Billa", where we got fresh fruit every day. For breakfast, we went to the local excellent restaurant and had a coffee & "semmel" bun for $3.70 euros.... more

We have just returned (08/07) from the Golden Tulip Art Hotel in Vienna and have found it a pleasant no frills base for exploring this fine city. The rooms are good, although there is no air conditioning something significant in the summer. This is a hotel in a great position but with several drawbacks. The rooms are basic with a superficial upgrade of feature colour walls, light fixtures and thankfully double glazing.
