Stayed here for a conference at the Messe Congress center. The hotel was spacious, spotless and elegantly furnished. My room was large with one of the most comfortable beds I have been in for years. The setup is quite elegant. Receptionists are nice and the doorman(?), Floben, was so helpful in giving us directions and where to take our metro rides. Beautiful interior, nice rooms with all the usual corporate hotel amenities. Great breakfast buffet with large variety. This hotel had the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. Just around the corner from the hotel is a subway stop which makes it easy to get around. There is a beautiful Russian Orthodox church a few steps from the hotel.... more

This was a large hotel catering primarily to business travelers. Nothing was included--not breakfast or parking or wi-fi. And the service was always good, although it felt corporate and sitance. I was staying in this Renaissance Penta hotel. Not exactly in the heart of the city but not far from it either. Was only 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre, and, also important, train station 3 minutes walk and easy to get to/from the airport.
