We stayed at the Donauwalzer for a week. It is near public transport (5 minutes walking; U6: Alser Strasse is the nearest stop) & a good buy for a budget stay in Vienna! The only reason to choose this hotel is the location near the metro stations. As I've understood the hotel proposes 2 solutions, the cheaper one (~61 EUR/night for a double) is unacceptable. I mean: very poor breakfast, room service doesn't work well, wc separated from the bathroom (both are very small, dirty and ugly). more

I stayed in this hotel in May 2007 I was given room no14 not good even for animals:no fridge very noisy and dirty reciptionist not helpful and always moan that they are busy I advice to avoid this hotel more
