Facilities: no airconditioning. Run down. Depressing. Graffiti in entrance hall of building. Same hall: dark. Bed: excellent. Firm but not hard. Dense foam. Clean. Quiet. An ideal location. You can walk to every major site in the city and it is convenient to tons of shops and restaurants and this makes the hotel a good bet. On the downside, I found the beds to be uncomfortable and the breakfast unimpressive. more

Wonderful location and helpful smiling staff. Comfortable beds with comforters. Computer available to guests for small fee which was very convenient and much less expensive than nearby internet cafes. Breakfast was disappointing compared to other european hotels. I would definitely stay here again. I felt safe and it was clean. more

An excellent location just minutes from the cathedral and pedestrian shopping areas. Underground is in the cathedral square as is the hop on off bus. We stayed here 23/24 May 07 The location is the best in Vienna if your only staying a few days. You can walk to everything. The room was clean and the bathroom freshly updated. The breakfast was excellent and the girls on the front desk very helpful. I'll stay there again. more
