The hotel is situated in a central location with the museum quarter being less than 100 yards away. The U Bahn is a similar distance so access to all parts of Vienna is easy. I stayed at Das Tyrol in September 2009 after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The room was perfect and the breakfast excellent. They staff was extremely helpful in all respects whether it was directions, restaurant recommendations, or assistance with transportation. The location was very good. I would definitely stay at Das Tyrol again and highly recommend it. more

Our first time in Vienna could not have been better. Almost all museums, music, and meals easily accessed.
