Stayed here with my girlfriend in Nov 2009 for three nights and would warmly reccommend this place to other travellers stopping in Vienna for a short break - in fact I have already advised a friend who's going soon to stay there. I recently stayed here for a work trip, and have to say that the experience was awful from start to finish. The reception staff (particularly the female ones) were surly, unhelpful and generally aggressive. Nice breakfast buffet, within walking distance of central train station. Ok if you don't mind the glass enclosed shower in the middle of the room. no problem with a couple of nearby sex shops more
I stayed at the Fleming's in September with my colleagues whilst at a conference in Vienna. From the moment we arrived, the hotel reception was as unhelpful as possible. There was no one to help with bags and not even a normal trolley to transport our luggage and boxes. When asked questions, we were answered with a yes or no... more
the hotel has cheap rooms, and good location to city center. it is close to the train station (a 5 minute walk). also, they have a very nice buffet breakfast in the morning with lots of options. however, the wait staff is awful. the worst service in all of vienna. you'll have to chase them down to get anything out... more
Just got back from Vienna where we stayed at the Flemmings.The hotel is conveniently located to the Museum Quarter and the Train Station. Buffet breakfast was generous and the room was comfortable. The location is good enough - right next the Westbahnhof train and metro station (100 meters), as from Mariahilferstrasse (a trendy and lively 3km lenght street that leads to Museums Quartier and Stephanplatz). The hotel is very conveniently located opposite to Westbanhof and metro. The staff was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and the shower in the middle of the room added a little romance to our relationship. Initially we thought it would be noisy been located on the main road but suprisingly we could not hear any traffic at all... more
