This hotel is also known as the Victoria, so we were very confused when we first asked around for it and we were pointed at the building labeled "Victoria". Narvik itself is very very small, but also very friendly. And actually, it is quite large when compared to the rest of the area!!
Norway is very very expensive, which we were not prepared for, and this hostel is no different. It cost us about $200 to stay for only 2 nights, although that included breakfast its no great deal. The breakfast was GREAT though. Front desk was also very helpful. Great access to downtown Narvik.
One recommendation, don't take the local transportation. It's expensive and not very timely. Rent a car from the tourist information building, and drive yourself around. There are only a few major roads, so its quite impossible to get lost. And this way you can stop and take pictures of the breathtaking scenery whenever you feel compelled.
