We stayed a couple of night in the hotel and overall I would say that it was a really pleasant experience. However we had a bit of an issue the first night. Our room had a window on a open air club and music was blasting until 4 in the morning. It felt as if we were actually in the... More

for €300/night you would expect a clean room, bed linens that actually cover the mattress, pillows without lumps, window panes that muffle the sound of the hourly clock chime, and maybe even a pen with a note pad to scribble things down on, and courteous service that know at least how to check you in&out smoothly... i would suggest if... Dear Recommend -Travel. Thank you for leaving your comments on tripadvisor. First of all I think regardless of how much or little you pay one should expect a clean room and a good nights sleep. The housekeeping department spend +-30 minutes on a departure room. Afterwards the supervisor checks the room, and later the huseman refill the free bottled water... More

The location of this hotel could not be better for a sightseeing visit to Oslo. It is a few minutes walk to the major museums, Aker Brygge, the fortress and the ferry to the Bygdøy museums and only a 10 minute walk to the rail station and the Opera House. I had an oddly shaped single room. It was comfortable... More

We originally booked the hotel for two nights but enjoyed the stay so much that we extended it for a third night. We originally booked a standard room but were able to upgrade to a very large spacious room on the 6th floor for minimal fee. Was a great stay for us and two young children after a long flight... This hotel is not a doubletree or Hilton. The hotel has comfortable rooms, the beds were to soft for my taste. The comforter and pillows were down, of which my wife is allergic. The hotel is on the main drag in Oslo and has many restaurants and pubs within easy walking area. The hotel had a great breakfast of hot... More

After reading conflicting reports here I was a bit apprehensive, but need not have been. I came to Oslo quite late and in fact had to direct the taxidriver a bit, as he was about to pass the hotel - probably because the white sheets that carry the hotel's name are a bit high. Nevertheless the check-in was quick and... More

Dear Suomimies, Thank you for your review. As a stand-alone hotel without any big brand behind us it takes time to build up the knowledge of the hotel among all taxi drivers. At least we are right in the center so finding us is fairly easy. In regard to the layout of the room there is not so much we... More

I stayed there for a brief period as a Justin Beiber concert ensured that rooms are packed to capacity. Excellent rooms and very spacious. Very good room service and good breakfast spread too. Tad costly, but i guess its worth it. located bang opposite the city square and view from dining hall was great. Definitely will stay here whenever i... More

Dear Sravan_Mitter, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback, and Beliebers were indeed filling up the capacity in the city that week. As with everything else, as long there is more demand than supply the result is that the prices increases. In general we have competitive rates compared to similar hotel products around, however we think we got... More

Stayed two nights. The room was pretty to look at, but not cleaned properly before our visit (garbage under the bed, and the glasses in the bathroom had old toothpaste and fingerprints on them). The complimentary breakfast was a joke, little to no selections and we found hair in the food. When we notified the staff, they only shrugged and... More

Very pleasant hotel and staff. Daily complimentary breakfast was a big plus. This stay was very comfortable and the location in downtown Oslo was a bonus as well. Only stayed for a night, but appreciated everyone second of it..

4th floor room...beautifully modern fittings and decor with nifty on suite basin room and separate 'tropical rain forest' shower room with heated floor . The room had strong personality, in the subtle Scandinavian style. Bed was huge, but too soft for me. Good breakfast buffet, but coffee was percolated only - no espresso machine available. Would loved to have seen... More

Dear StuartR567, Thank you for your kind review, I just want to correct one thing in regard to the espresso. We have a manual espresso machine, and you can actually order any coffee you like from the waiter free of charges, also espresso. Kind regards More
