THey advertised that there was a telephone, satellite TV and TV in general in every room. They offered the opportunity to book a room with private bathroom. They said it was a non-smoking room and floor.
Instead what I got was a room where 1) the man next door hacking his lungs out with phlegm for 48+hours was smoking like a chimney and it filled the hall and my room 2) my window opened out onto a BRICK WALL in an inner courtyard and it was only about 10 feet from my window 3)I had no telephone, no TV and no private bathroom 4) the toilet was down and around the hallway and was freezing cold and not very sanitary 5) questionable men speaking in a Middle Easern dialects were having covert whispered and angry conversations outside my room in the hall at various times. I did not know there was a wonderful hostel I could have stayed at and been much safer and happier (Anker Hostel).
