Accept of the service there is NOTHING good to say about this hotel. 1) It looked like a construction site 2) It has probably not been renewed since the seventies 3) The TV didn't work 4) Suddenly the warm water stopped while showering (but the cold water was only "pee cold" so actually no crisis) more

The hotel is almost in the middle of the city center, its nice furnished and comfortable, so you are just really enjoying return after a long day back into it. Included is also nice breakfast and the staff is also very kind. I can recommend to everybody travelling to Oslo. more

Best Western Anker is a good choice for either business o leisure travel; it's a basic 3 to 4 star hotel in Europe, regarding room size; but one of the good things is they offer buffet breakfast included in the room rate, wich for Oslo prices is a great thing. The hotel is close (half block) to one bus and... more

Whilst the hotel is central and a 5-10 minute walk from Oslo Central Station I was not impressed and would not return. As Roaming00 said the hotel is a building site and work starts early. The interior of the hotel has been modified to allow for the building work. The reception and breakfast area looks like something out of the... more

The hotel is second worst "3 stars" hotel I ever visited after Cleopatra in Cairo Egypt, The hotel extension is under construction, the noise starts at 7 am. The hotel level of cleanness is null, a youth hostel will have a better restaurant than their restaurant, breakfast is disgusting you have to be cancel any form of taste to be... more

I found hotel very expensive in oslo so after a long search this hotel was one of the cheapest I could find. the location was great, within walking distance of the bus station and really close to the city. the breakfast was typical of buffet breakfast in hotels. I really liked this hotel it was clean and neat with nice... more

Had one night here early September. The hotel is undergoing renovations. In the reception the ceiling tiles had been removed and there were wires hanging from the ceiling everywhere. The hotel staff at the reception were very helpful. The good thing about the room is that there is free wifi. I requested a non smoking room but as no singles... more

Finding great hotels in Oslo is easy. Finding hotels at reasonable prices is almost impossible. The only combination of the two that I have discovered after several trips to Norways capital is Anker, where I now always stay. Among the features I love: Walking distance from the train station (with lots of interesting shops and restaurants on the way), quiet... more

we spent 2 nights in Oslo. Hotel is very near central station. First impressions were a bit disappointing becuase the reception area is very shabby. We took into consideration that they were renovating cause it was mentioned when we booked but it still affects your view as soon as you enter. Rooms were a bit small but nicely decorated. Had... more

I recomend this hotel if you don´t want to spend much. It is very close to Oslo Central Station (10 min. walking) and the hotel facilities are OK! The staff was very friendly and helpful. more
