Old world charm with great service. Breakfast buffet comprehensive. Rooms relatively small but that is the European standard. I enjoyed my stay there!

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The hotel has an excellent location in the center of the city with easy access to everything.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, friendly staff and nice common areas.
I ecpesially recommend taking a drink in the cosy lounge. I love the big leather sofas and the books creating a good atmosphere....

Central location, olde world atmosphere, beautiful food in bar - not overly expensive as in other places in Norway. Room at back of hotel nice, big and quiet. Breakfast great. Staff very efficient and pleasant with good english and a sense of humour.

A Friday night, we had an early flight on the Saturday and so wanted to get an early(ish) night. 11pm there was music pumping through the hotel, a live band somewhere. I have stayed at most of the better hotels in the town.
This is one of the best. It is kind of English style.
The rooms vary in size, but they are all quite large.
The hotel has a good restaurant and a cosy bar area by the...

The front desk staff are (like most places in Oslo) Swedish, a bit arrogant and some was a little inexperienced, it took some time to get the room key. I had a single...

On entering the hotel had bags of old world charm and must be wonderful around Christmas time with open fires and tea and cakes in the lounge etc.
Check in was effiecient and...
