The past reviews of this hotel are pretty old, and much has changed. I stayed there two nights for business, and pictures of my room confirms that the furniture at least have been replaced, along with the bathroom which also has renewed. We stayed overnight at this beautiful town on the south coast of Norway. The neighbourhood is quite nice but the Hotel Wergeland is a complete disaster. We got exactly the room shown on the website, but the difference is that the furnitures are outdated and used. The room was dusty and there were electric & TV cables running all around... more
