Comfortable, spaceous room for single room standards, with flat screen TV being the only modern equipment. Furniture were old, armchair was broken and dirty. Bathroom was a big disappointment: no separate shower cabin, turning bathroom into a lagoon anytime you used the shower. Hotel provided a T-shaped tool for mopping the floor (how considerate!). Towels were worn out, and I suppose most guests must have used them to mop the floor... Even toilet was not firm; each time I sat, it felt as if it would fall apart! Hair dryer was the big old type (ladies know what I mean) and it takes like 30 minutes to dry shoulder length hair. The window curtain was too short and single layered, allowing light from very early. I reported both broken armchair and toilet problems, but none was fixed!
The hotel is indeed centrlly located, but it is not the only one, there are 3-4 hotels all around. And Trondheim is a tiny city, so central location does not really make that much of a difference... more
