We were given a room in the old section of the hotel. The room was unbearably smelly and musty and the carpet was dirty. I couldn't stand it. I went to the desk to request another room. Although other rooms were available, it would have represented an upgrade and the hotel refused to give us any of those vacant rooms.... more

This hotel was wonderful. The location is amazing. We just liked sitting out front looking at the fjords. I was a little disappointed that you had to pay for almost everything extra - and the harp player at breakfast was a little too much. But, overall, we loved it here.
