Stayed here for two nights as part of a ford tour at the end of April '08. the hotel is beautiful and is set on the side of a beautiful fjord. The food was good, so was the wine and service. It would be hard to find a more spectacular location than that which the Solstrand enjoys. The hotel literally sits atop the Bjornfiord in Western Norway. Just back from a visit to Bergen and a short stay at the excellent Hotel Solstrand. We thought it was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.
