Stayed here for three nights on a business trip in October. It's a converted warehouse with a lot of character. Rooms are small by North American standards but very comfortable and nicely furnished & equipped. Bathrooms are particularly funky. Bar was nice, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. A great hotel in the center of ålesund town with and cozy old time feel to it. Room was mordern with a glass room toilet bath build in the old room - coffemaker minibar og telly. Breakfast was okay nothing special. The open fireplace by the reception and the old house unik ambience makes this a hotel to return too. More

This is our second visit to Aalesund and Brosundet, and we still love it! Kristina at the front desk is so qute and helpful. Smart refurbish the old warehouse into hotel which retains the old part while adding in new facilities and design. Nice location that you can easily noticed near the harbour. As Norway is always expensive, the price of the hotel is actually very reasonable in this country, even though you can get a 5-star hotel room in Singapore with this pricing.... More

hotel beautifully candle lit when we arrived, with a big lof fire. rooms are small but nicely done, with again small bathrooms. all have flat screen tvs, & wifi. our only criticism would be no drawer space at all. breakfast was really good, with a selction of herrings, smoked salmon & delicious breads, plus loads more ! we didnt eat...
