Cosy dining area in this old fashioned pub. We were welcomed and served by two smiley, efficient girls. Happy with prices. We weren't hurried... More

Visited the Lamb Inn recently with a group of friends for Sunday lunch and we cannot rate this pub highly enough. The atmosphere was pleasant and cosy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food and beer were great and the cellar tour ended our visit nicely. Thank-you Lamb Inn!

Hello, Keyboard warrior here! Just to say thanks to Natalie for making us so welcome during our short, but sweet stay! Breakfast was superb, as was our evening meal. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of the pub, but was disappointed that Emily the ghost didn't put in an appearance! The bedrooms, and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Will be... More

Beautiful traditional English pub, with lots of interesting history. We just spent one night there but were really welcome, and the staff were really friendly! And the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Just happened to walk passed the place and popped in because of the live music that was playing, and stayed for food. The choice although limited was varied and all the meals were excellent, from the Thai green curry (made to order), burger, or chicken etc a high quality meal was had. We were not rushed, even though it was... More

Booked a table for 6:30, sat down and ordered " sorry haven't got any burgers left, Ill give you a few more minutes to decided", waitress came back after serving another table that came in after us, "sorry haven't got any fish left, the table I just served took the last ones" Slightly annoyed but decided we were happy to... The room was adequate in size, although there was no shelf space in bathroom. Bed extremely uncomfortable in fact mattress lacked any padding or comfort. It was very difficult to sleep at all. This was sold as a B&B however, despite costing £90 for one night (high-end price for time of year) we were informed that 'chef ' did not... More
