We found the Bay Lodge Hotel to be very,very clean and quiet . The breakfast was one of the best that we have had and the bed and bathroom were immaculate. The only negative was that the sea view was spoilt by the old building across the road and i banged my head twice on the ceiling beam.

We spent two nights here with my mum and her friend as an 80th birthday treat for mum. The twin room on the ground floor was perfect for them. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Lovely bedlinen and firm mattress. Very warm rooms even though the weather was freezing outside. A good choice of food at breakfast, ample servings. Altogether welcoming.
