Wartling Place is the perfect haven away from it all. A beautiful country house, decorated and furnished as befits its age. We have just returned from Wartling Place and can only agree with the previous reviews - it is difficult to add anything else - Rowena was a lovely host and the Lamb Inn was a welcoming place to bring in the New Year. Cannot fault this small hotel for a short stay in the East Sussex countryside. My wife and I did just that for our last night of a holiday in the area.
