My wife Rosemary and stayed in the Meridale Guest House on Wednesday the 8th of July 2009.
The welcome we received from the landlady Jane in the afternoon was excellent. She showed us the room and explained all about the area.
The room was very clean with tea making and T V.
The bed was very comfortable.
The best was to come with the breakfast the next morning. Everything was available with a large selection of cereals. Dave was the perfect host. A nice touch was the fridge which kept the butter and milk fresh.
I had a full english which was well presented on the plate with no sign of grease.
Although we only stayed for one night we will return in the future for a longer stay.
This is one of the best guest houses that we have stayed in .
