Not a good experience at all. The appearance of the hotel from outside is enough to make you turn round and go home but we were on a coach so had no choice. Never again!!!! Filthy, badly cooked food. never on time, dirty chef, one evening we all walked out in disgust. staff spend all their time apologising but nothing is done to rectify problems. I am a group organiser and I took my group to the Heatherleigh Hotel, Eastbourne first time in August 2007. At first all my members were a little concerned about the communication with some of the staff members as English was not their first language. We stayed at the Heatherleigh Hotel, Eastbourne for 2 nights during our long weekend holiday. Its a very comfortable and cosy place. Our room was overlooking the coastline with beautiful views.
