For the independant traveller you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The rooms are large and the option for self catering is ideal. Sarah and Carl's Guesthouse is beautiful, well-run, clean with spacious rooms and a lovely Full-English breakfast in the morning. I can't recommend their place highly enough. The Guesthouse is very close to the lovely local pubs, bars and good restaurants. The Guesthouse is very close to the sea and Beachy Head is only a 10 minute drive away. more

Eastbourne is the unsung gem of British seaside resorts.
