We had a lovely stay in Eastbourne this April. Mary and Michael are very friendly and helpful. The Carlton room is spacious and very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit salads every morning. Furthermore, it is very easy to find parking spaces in the area.

We stayed on the May bank holiday weekend. The downstairs room was huge with a big comfortable bed and quality bedding. The designer curtains are made by the landlady herself and are greatly admired. The spacious power shower is brilliant. Breakfast was perfect, with a fresh mango, kiwi fruit and blueberry fruit salad, and the yellowest eggs possible. The sausages... More

We really enjoyed our two nights at Latimer House. We were two couples travelling together, so had both the Carlton and Latimer rooms, both of which were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Mary and Michael were most welcoming. We enjoyed the special treats provided, and renewed each day. Latimer House is most central, not only to the... More

We stayed second time in Latimer House and it was like last year. Mary and Michael were very friendly and we had a lot to talk. Their breakfast was beautiful, especially the toasts. The best toasts we ever had. The Carlton room was big and very clean. We felt very well. If we will come to Eastbourne again, we will... More

This is a small B&B owned run by Michael & Mary Reilly - a charming couple who always make you welcome. I have stayed on many occasions in all three of the accommodations on offer, The Latimer Room, The Carlton Room, and The Stables. My favourite is The Carlton Room, which has its own private entrance from the street, and... More

We stayed the weekend of 4-7th May 2012 and can say that the accommodation was excellent. Lovely room, quality bed, fluffy duvet, view of the downs, friendly owners. Breakfast was fresh, carefully cooked from best ingredients, the eggs were especially lovely with very dark orange yolks and, home baked bread! We have booked for next year. V&A Cambridge

We are a German couple and stayed for 1 night in Latimer House. The house ist not far away from the beach. Mary an Michael were friendly hostesses. The breakfast was delicious. The Latimer Room was very nice and very clean. Thanks for a too short stay. Next time we will stay longer in Latimer House.
