This was my second stay at this hotel - and I have already booked my third! Not because it is outstanding, but because it is practical. If you want somewhere safe and clean to sleep and shower in, then it has to be here. I paid £35 for a family room with a sea view ( the sea is literally... more

We stayed from Monday to Friday in this seafront travel lodge in Eastbourne and had a lovely stay (apart from the weather). We had visited this site prior to booking and had read a review with regard to room 404. We asked at the time of booking if we could have this particular room, and although they couldnt totally promise... more

We have stayed in this travelodge on 4 occasions. Why? Because its very central, not as expensive as the other hotels, reasonably clean and modern inside and importantly because we have to! Our daughter is at University here and its 260 miles from our home.I always book a family room if I can get one so that I get more... more

Stayed 1 night September 5th. Excellant value for money. Room, staff and location comments as last few reviewers. The on-street parking with pay meters is free between 6pm and 8 am. The full monty breakfast at £7.50 seemed resonable but wanting only a snack we used a bakers/cafe approx 250m down the road behind the hotel. more

I stayed in the Travelodge from Thursday 10th September until Sunday the 13th. I was over in the UK for a friends wedding. We had a room with a seaview, which was great. The room was small and basic, but with the price you pay, it is what you expect. There is a TV and Tea/Coffee making facilites. The bed... more

We were in Eastbourne for a show at the theatre, and booked our room 5 months earlier in the hope of a seaview room... but were allocated a room at the back - we asked if there was a seaview room and the receptionist who did not even know which rooms were taken, seemed to search endlessly on the computer... more

This Travelodge is situated in a great location on the sea front, including many rooms with a sea view. The overall service is good and the hotel features a reasonably priced cafe/bar. However, rooms are a little on the small side and this is the only Travelodge I have stayed at in which the bathroom does not have a bath... more

We booked at bargain rates of approx £40 a room a night and stayed three nights. Good points: * just over the road from beach; * has sea-view rooms; * has all the basic things you need of a room; * staff can be helpful. * tv & bible provided Points needing attention: * parking nearby can be tricky and... more

I have just returned from a three night stay for Airbourne airshow. I travelled with extended family and we booked two rooms which we asked to be close together. The hotel did accomodate this despite it being peak season and full, for which we were grateful. The check in was quick and easy and within a few minutes we had... more

The Travelodge Eastbourne has a great location, right on the sea front and the building from the outside gives it good appeal but overall the Hotel is a DISASTER!! We booked 2 nights breakfast and late "check out" and totaled just under £150. We stayed in room 113 which was not a sea view. The floor was uneven which meant you... more
