My husband and I took advantage of the Winter Warmer offer. Rooms, including breakfast, started at £75. We chose to upgrade to an Executive room, costing £100. The Winter Warmer special is said to include a glass of mulled wine on arrival, however this was not offered to us. Our room was on the first floor and must have been... more

Just returned from 3 nights at the Quay. True it was hard to find but we were aware thanks to trip advisor and found it by looking for modern estate on the quay. The hotel was lovely. Slightly isolated and a car is needed to go out. We had an executive room with views over the estuary standard rooms were... more

It took us an hour to find The Quay Hotel. You could say it was our own fault but my brother also found it difficult. However, when we got there it was beautiful, very airy and spacious with lovely views across the harbour and to Conwy Castle. We only stayed one night but it was lovely! The staff were pleasant... more

Happened to have a meeting in Holyhead and selected the hotel based on a report I had seen a month earlier in the BA inflight magazine. Hotel is bright, airy, modern and clean. Room (suite) was very clean and well appointed in a minimalist modern style. Decent spa and pool. Food was a disappointment. Ate in the bar, limited menu... more

We stayed here in early September this year. It is a very new build and modern into the bargain sited on an old Quay opposite the town of Conwy. There is not a lot to do surrounding the hotel and a car is advisable as its a fair walk into town. We arrived on Saturday and a weding reception was... more

Hotel is in a great location, and our room (suite) was overlooking the estuary. The restaurant was ok, but we did anticipate something a little more with the rossettes it has been awarded. The rooms are a little dated, but very comfortable and had all you would expect for the class. Would definately go back! more

The hotel is relatively new and this was reflected in a high standard of fit and finish in public areas and in the rooms. The bar was nice with a terrace that has a fantastic view over the bay, the bar menu and breakfast were both fine (I didn't try the restaurant). Rooms themselves are very large with a spacious,... more

We stayed here for one night July 2009. The rate we booked was competitive and on arrival were upgraded, so well pleased. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Room and hotel in very clean and welcoming. A very good hotel - highly recommended. Only two slight issues but nothing major. Our executive room was close to the bar and we were... more

Stayed here for 1 night with my mum for a treat - dinner, bed & breakfast. Parking was no problem (and no cost). Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful throughout the hotel and spa. Room was larger than average and was clean and modern with nice furnishings. Bathroom was large and clean but they were a bit stingy with... more

We were driving past and were attracted by the sign 'Hotel of the Year 07/08' and took a last minute deal on a Sunday night, a suite with breakfast for £155, as we had a 10 week old baby we planned to have roomservice and wanted the extra space. The room was great on the ground floor with a patio... more
