I recently stayed here for 3 days, i know llandudno very well as it is like my second home, the trip i made was very special to me as i recently lost my mother.I chose this hotel for the outstanding views and the friendly way the owners spoke to me on enquiring about the booking. This review is way behind, but my experience at the Hafod-y-Mor was so good, I just had to give my 2 cents worth. First of all the location cannot be beaten. It is at the base of the Great Orne and provides a great view of the promenade and the beach. The rooms are cozy and inviting and mine had... more

Just spent 4 days there, very family friendly. As the title suggests - nothing too much trouble - especially having a 3yr old with you. Helen and Eddie kept her entertained. Fantastic views from the family room - clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are amazing. Will certainly return. Helen and Eddie were flexiable to our needs and did not... more

Nice place. Not right on the promenade, but elevated a bit up the Great Orme's base, which provides great views of the sea and beach. The walk down to the promenade only took a few minutes. Our luggage arrived before us (it was lost by the airline and then sent ahead) and was already up in our room when we... more

So accomodating and genuine. Such amazing views. So close to the city (though i the signposting in the city isn't great so we walked the wrong way up the steeper hill..... keep to the right travellers, keep to the right up the hill, though to the left you may find goats... which i advise doing) I shall return more

Seven of us stayed for the weekend. Helen and Eddie were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless and the rooms had fabulous views of Llandudno. It was in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants, promenade and Happy Valley. more

During a half-term solo adventure throughout the UK, this was my last stop. It was, by far, the best place I stayed throughout the entire 8 days away. Helen and Eddie were fantastic, the room had a breathtaking view of the beach and Llandudno and it was in a fabulous location - close to the Great Orme Tram, the promenade,... more

Good sized room with lovely views over the sea. This hotel is not right on the promenade, but situated just up a hill overlooking it. However, it is an short walk down. Helen & Eddie are warm & friendly. We enjoyed our stay. more
