We have just returned from a 3 night break at this hotel. We knew there had been a kitchen fire and that the full restaurant menu was not available, but we deceided to try the terrrace menu only because it was difficult eating elsewhere because we had my elderly disabled mother with us. We booked a table for 7.30pm and at... more

Thanks to some recent renovation the hotel has regained most of its splendour but with some nice modern touches. The rooms are spacious and clean with some fantastic views if you're facing the front. the staff are really helpful and the food good. Maybe a little overpriced considering it is a north Wales resort and pretty much populated by retired... more

Just back from a weekend at this lovely hotel. It is a fine Victorian building which has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. It made such a refreshing change to stay in an old UK hotel that did NOT look shabby, and like it had seen better days. We had sea facing rooms on the second floor and... more

Stayed one night (Saturday), DB&B, in a fourth floor, non-Sea View "classic" double. Room was smallish but clean and in excellent condition. Public areas were very nice too. Had a lovely dinner in the sea-view terrace restaurant and enjoyed coffee and cake there during the day. Staff in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and efficient. Hotel was in an excellent... more

Went especially for the Award Winning Terrace restaurant, sophisiticated atmosphere and view of the sea as advertised on the hotel web site and it was closed. Apparantly when the hotel is full the restaurant can't cope so everyone is put in a back room that doubles as a conference area. When we complained the management were pompous and uninterested, no... more

we are open all year offering our award winning food in whichever restaurant is operating. This visit was over the Easter weekend with a full hotel dining in our famous Grade 2 listed Wedgwood room which has always been the traditional dining function room at stgeorges. The decision was due to entertainment being offered every evening. Our terrace restaurant is...

Myself and my boyfriend decided to visit Llandudno on the last minute and found what we thought was a great deal on a 4* Hotel. Arrived at the hotel and found the reception staff very helpful and friendly. It all went downhill from there. We went to our room to find that we had been allocated a twin room rather... more

the reservation as stated was the booking agents fault the only rooms left available to offer were smaller with zip and link beds and not twin beds pushed together as stated. I do regret any disturbance from the corridors and the banging of the doors these will be adjusted by our maintenance team. After our full refurbishment all bedrooms have...

Booked a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis, with a free evening meal and bottle of house wine thrown in for one evening! Excellent rates. Had lunch in the hotel on one day as well, at a reasonable price. Room, food and service were excellent. Try the Lamb shank for either lunch or dinner, it melts in... more

Stayed at St Georges Llandudno on 2nd February 2008 in twin sea front room - it was superb - bedroom well appointed and comfortable - extremely clean and warm. We sampled snack at lunch time and dinner in the evening and both excellent quality. Staff all courteous and despite on Saturday having a wedding and dinner for 110 - we... more
