Just got back and enjoyed the place. It is a very friendly place and the food is great. We took two of our Grandchildren aged 1 and 3 and the staff were great with them. We will be going back there. more

Went with a group of 14 friends with National Holidays. Had read earlier critical reviews so expectations were low. However, very impressed with the location, facilities, and the service was first rate under the supervision of the manager Duncan. Suitcases taken to our rooms on arrival, plenty of choice of food and even though self-service buffet style, waiting staff always... more

We felt we must write a review having just come home from The Grand yesterday. We totally agree with " GlossopDaves" report and found that every comment he made was totally true. We had a brilliant time. Ok the hotel is old and a bit antiquated but that is more than made up for in the food. We were totally... more

I booked a premier room for 1 night in August, 7 weeks before my Husband and I was due to go, by the internet. Confirmation came saying 'Reservation Status - Guaranteed and paid in full. However after travelling up from South Wales and spending a night in Anglesey first, I switched on my Mobile in the morning to find a... more

we went for a nice bank holiday break and although the staff were efficient, we found they were like zombies and really talked, especially in the dining room, mind you they were probably embarrassed by the state of the food, breakfast was watery, cold and not a lot of choice, very basic indeed, evening meals did not fare any better... more

Having read previous reviews I was alittle concerned over some adverse comments. However, on arrival our cases were promptly taken to our room (while I found somewhere to park.....my only complaint...but soon learned where the spaces were). The room was fairly large, clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the Bay. Meals were good with a varied choice of... more

As a worker in the hotel, i decided to have a look at what people have to say about the place. In truth, most of what is said is true, but i would like to say a few things myself. Yes, it is old and dated, is in need of refurbishment, the food could be better. But, the staff have... more
