Nice and quick check in,really friendly staff always smiling, good service at the bars and breakfast was good also, yes the floor boards do creak as per previous reviews but that didn't bother us. Enjoyed our stay and will be back this year. Entertainment people worked their socks off also. More

Just returned from this hotel on a national holidays superdeal.Room was long and tight and susceptable to noise at night when act on in the bar.We did not complain as we had got such a cheap deal but others did and were promptly moved to more opulant room. There are 3 price band/standards rooms available.Food was well cooked with plenty off... we stayed for one night after being put into possibly one of the smallest rooms in the hotel with a awful view of a building right next to us , we were very rudely spoken to and made out to be simple after our money got stuck in a vending machine and told to come back in the morning were... More

Arrived with family and went to our allocated "family room". The room was ridiculously small, unable to open window’s, loo was not big enough to swing a small cat. Went to complain, and helpful guy at reception said he would see what he could do. We returned later in the afternoon to be offered an upgraded room, which on the... More

We stayed here w/c 13.02.2012 and had a pleasant break. Lllandudno is ideal for exploring North wales. The hotel is faded and tatty. There was plenty of food to be had, although not of a great standard but on the prices we paid it represented good value. The staff in the dining room worked very hard to keep things moving... More

Stayed with 5 friends for one night. Great value for money - £70 for 2 people, bed breakfast and evening meal and a bottle of wine!. We were given sea views and hotel staff were very friendly. Only complaint was when we played bingo the prize money given for the amount we payed for the tickets and the amount of... More

We stayed on the 11th February for one night as part of a group mystery tour, from the moment we arrived staff at reception were very friendly and helpful as were all staff throughout our stay. The food and entertainment were good and the location is nice. While the hotel is dated in places people should realise what they pay... More

Thank you so much for your positive review of our hotel. As you rightly state there are 4* hotels in the town but the cost to the guests would be much higher than staying at the Grand. Plus the atmosphere and staff would not be as good at the Grand (Lol) More

We stayed in February for 1 night on Bed, Breakfast & Evening Meal basis. Couldnt really fault it for £59 for the 2 of us. We asked for a high room with a sea view, and that's exactly what we were given on the 5th floor. The staff were friendly enough and check-in was swift. If I was to knock... More

Thank you for your review and kind comments; so glad we got your request right. It is not always possible but we do our utmost to meet guests requests so it always worthwhile mentioning anything that is important to you. Being an entertainment hotel can lead to some noise on the lower floor rooms so it is always advisable to... More
