You really have to go at least three times to the Headlands as we have to appreciate it's character that the owners have brought to this hotel.IT truly is a fabulous place with lots of character and quirks. We went and stayed on St Georges day, we were met with a foriegn maid dressed in an Enlgish hat, T-shirt and... more

Internet site for the hotel is deceiving, rooms were damp and smelly, on going building work ,(cant be helped if improvments are to be made and believe... more

Our September break with the Headlands was again faultless. The whole family make anyones stay wonderful. Good beds, good food, good company - what else could a guest want? Even security is taken care of by George the resident seagull so no trouble there. To anyone who wants to get away from the stress of the modern world I would recommend... more

First trip back since New Year stay, which was really special in itself. Great to see some more changes as all the building work is almost completed. I was stunned at just how much work Ray & Tanya have done to update the Hotel which was obviously badley neglected before they bought it. Although I am slighty disabled I stayed... more

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over Britain, I have never complained about any of them. This hotel is disguisting, dogs everywhere, including the dining room. Staff rude and unhelpful. Bedrooms dirty and old fashioned. DON'T STAY HERE more

The best!!

Another most enjoyable stay at a family and dog friendly hotel! Tanya and Ray made us most welcome on arrival and we had a choice of rooms with a view of Llandudno looking towards the Little Orme and the town, across towards Deganwy and Conway, with even some glimpses of Snowdon on a good day! This is our sixth stay... more

The Headlands is most definitely a family run business, in fact various factions of the family own and inhabit the Hotel Messina (next door to The Headlands). The Headlands commands an imposing position overlooking Llandudno, at the top end of Hill Terrace - posing a challenge to the timid driver, as you need to park at a 45 degree angle... more

We have just returned from a very enjoyable 3 days stay at Headlands and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is a Victorian building with lots of character and the breakfast area has wonderful views of Llandudno Bay and across the peninsula to Deganwy. The room was clean and modern (with a four poster bed!) and a good view... more
