Utter Crap. I would rather sleep in the gutter than experience this Faulty Towers garbage again. After being kept up most of my first night of a two night stay by loud guests, the receptionist assured me that they would have a word, but it wasn't the fault of the Hotel. The Morning after it was AGREED that i would... More

We arrived at this hotel having read other reviews, but went anyway. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was first class. It was well worth the money and though a little tired in parts it seems to be suffering from bad publicity that is in my view unfounded. What... More

Lovely hotel and friendly staff, the two girls were great, really welcoming. Food excellent and home cooked. Our room was a little tired but lovely and warm and clean. All in all well worth the money and cosy. Would come again.

Accompanied by 28 walkers from N. England we enjoyed 3 nights stay at this hotel. Having read tripadvisor we were concerned. We need not have worried. The rooms were spotless, the staff were most helpful and friendly and the half board left us amazed at how they could manage it at the price. Each evening there was an entertainer who had... More

A group of us visited this hotel last year. When we first arrived we were not greeted by the manager. In one of our room the heater leaked and a friend burnt herself on it. We were told it would be sorted out asap but was still not fixed at the end of the holiday. The dinning room was in the... More

This was the holiday that I was least looking forward to, as there were some dreadful reviews of the Seaclyffe and of David Urquhart Travel on TripAdvisor. However, the five day coach tour turned out much better than expected and was in fact very enjoyable. Our room, a small double, was attractively decorated in shades of brown and cream, with... More

Thank you very much for posting your review. I fully accept the negative points you raised and I intend to address these when we close at the end of the season. Unfortunately the room sizes will remain the same but hopefully with some careful planning more space can be created. I appreciate the comments that you made regarding the fact... More

My Mother and I booked two single rooms in April, for two nights in August, and were a little apprehensive after reading some of the latest reviews. On our arrival I ended up ringing up the owner of the hotel after standing in reception for 20 minutes on our own. When she did arrive she informed us that there wasn't... More

Booked the hotel through laterooms.com. Asked for two double rooms which was available and went ahead and booked it. Got there there was nowhere to park! Road was absolutely full of cars. Just about found somewhere to park. Went in and a man who worked there, who by the way couldn't speak very good English at all, told me there... More

First of all I'd like to say The Seaclyffe was run, on our Fri -Mon break, by the young waitresses, who worked really hard, and were pleasant and run off their feet. We did not see the owner, until we were ready to leave at 10am Monday Morning. Our room had no handle to shut it, and I had to... More
