We have just returned from a two night stay at the Bella Vista. The room and facilities were very comfortable, breakfast and evening meals in the attached restaurant were very good with excellent service. The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard and represented very good value for money. more

This place is lovely. The furnishings were very romantic. The rooms we stayed in were immaculate and incredibly comfy. They provide newspapers, mineral water, toilettries etc. More like a four star hotel than a guest house, really. The breakfast was well cooked and tasty but there was no vegetarian option, despite us letting them know in advance which was a... more

Second stay for an overnight getaway...and will keep going back. Booked the four poster front room (rm 6) totally sumptuous, with views of the bay and a telescope to boot...which I had a little play on once I'd dragged myself away from the divinely deep bath with piping hot water. The honesty bar was wonderful, no queueing to be served... more

I stayed in a single room which was very clean and well decorated.. The only problem with this hotel is that it has no parking. The breakfast was good and the staff are very polite. more

This is very much a seaside guest house with aspirations to being a hotel but without the amenities, the ambience or the people skills. It is not cheap either £73 for a standard rear facing double with breakfast. The breakfast was excellent but the breakfast room was very cramped and latest sit down time was 0915 AM with no relaxation... more

This hotel has just been refurbished to a very high standard. Unfortunately the service did not match. Not the most friendly of welcomes. I felt like I was disturbing the woman on reception. Room was lovely, could not fault it. Breakfast average to poor. No menu, I had no idea what was on offer. On the first morning only got... more

Fantastic hotel! Our room was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The 4 poster bed was a realy novilty! The bathroom was obviously brand new and the shower in particular was amazing! The room (7) didn't have a view of anything really, but this didn't bother us at all as we had booked a rear room anyway... more
