Reading the some of the reviews on this site have made me laugh out load, i have visited this hotel for many years now and as always i enjoyed my stay. The room that i stayed in 102 was cleaned with excellence, fresh towels, polished and hoovered everyday. The Housekeeping, reception and waiting on staff always go out of there... more

On arrival given the keys to our room it was absolutely filthy, spent the first hour cleaning the room to make it habitable. Food was very average, okay if you liked turkey, pork or lamb, as this was given to us six nights out the seven. The hotel staff were very unfriendly. The general appearance of reception, dining room and... more

Travelled with National Holidays, and stayed at the hotel from friday until sunday, found the hotel staff very friendly and also helpful. The room was on the fourth floor, but was light and airey, and was very clean. Meals were always on time. The entertainment was fine on both nights. I would definatley use this hotel again in the future. more

Went with National Tours and this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room 102 was like a dark dungeon had to have the lights on all the time. The dust under the seats in the conservatory must have been there months. We waited 3/4 hour for breakfast only to be told they thought we had already... more

After reading the previous reviews and going to the hotel I can only think the people who critised it were at a different hotel.I took my disa bled mother with me and we wre given an easy access room and all the help we required. The food was plentiful and always very fresh and... more

I know you cant control the weather but our room was freezing because the window was broken, letting in the cold whistling wind! We told the staff and they seemed obvlivious to it but changed our room. It was much better but something in the bathroom leaked i dunno if it was the sink, loo or bath. Felt like i... more

Having read some of the reviews really wasn't sure what to expect as they were a bit mixed. We were pleasantly suprised by the friendliness of all the staff, and in particular, Steve our restaurant waiter. He was by no means the exception though in courteous, attentive behaviour and we really enjoyed our stay. The food and accomodation was good... more
