This is probably the best guest house I've ever stayed in. The location is excellent, the room comfortable and well appointed with flatscreen TV and wifi. Mosaic and Martin could not be more welcoming and friendly and I really loved their green ethos. The breakfast, using local produce was superb. What more could one ask for? more

I stayed at lattice lodge for one night visiting family, and i must say i will be using this hotel on a regular basis each time i visit suffolk, the rooms were spotless, the attention to detail were lovely, and Martin the co owner with his partner Mosaic were great, nothing was to much trouble and the Breakfast was lovely.... more

Excellent accommodation, rooms in beautiful decorative order. Mosaic & Martin, the owners were very friendly and helpful. Traditional English breakfast was served beautifully. When visiting Ipswich in the future I will certainly be re-booking at Lattice Lodge. Sheila, Wirral more
Thanks for your lovely comments about the room decoration. We use environmentally friendly paints, which are rather more expensive than 'normal' paint, but as they don't smell, as soon as the paint is dry we can re-let the room, instead of waiting several days with the windows open, thus recouping the additional cost. Mosaic and Martin are on my wavelength - good value, a great welcome, sensitive approach to their environmental impact and supporting other local Suffolk producers. It was a neat move to offer for sale the local preserves and sauces we enjoyed at breakfast. Free WiFi was a real boon for me. I shall certainly return. Stephen, West Sussex more

Yup, real milk for tea. It's a bit more effort for us than simply sticking those little UHT 'milk' portions in the room, but we're glad to read it's appreciated. The same goes for the filtered water in the rooms. Cheers, Mosaic and Martin.
close to the town, but not the hustle and bustle, easy access to main road, very nice couple. more
Thanks for your positive review. Yeah, we're not right in the centre, but the bus service from here is great so we hardly ever use our car for trips to town. Walking to the town takes us about 20 minutes (and a few minutes more on the way back, as it's uphill...!). Cheers, Mosaic and Martin.
one of the best places we have stayed in, exceptional value for money, lovely clean and spacious rooms, the owners were very friendly and went out their way to make our stay perfect. Would definatly stay here again if ever in ipswich. Breakfast great!!! A++++++++ more

We were a group of friends coming for a weekend, and spent a night at Lattice Lodge. After many helpful e-mails and phone conversations to change bookings, and direction assistance, we were warmly welcomed and had a personal tour of the accommodation. Our rooms were clean, of a good size and had great I pod docks! Breakfast was lovely, local... more

Clean rooms, comfy beds, a really good breakfast and always a friendly welcome – Lattice Lodge is home from home and undoubtedly the best B&B I've stayed in. Fantastic value. more
