We stayed here as we were going to a music festival nearby. We were welcomed in early as we had to rush off to the gig and Steve kindly ordered us a cab. The room was spotless and the bathroom too. It was well appointed and even had a fridge hidden in a wardrobe so you could store your own... more

I stayed here with my husband in September 2009, a day after getting married in nearby Clare. We wanted somewhere we could relax and unwind after the hustle and bustle of the wedding and we couldn't have chosen more wisely. From the friendly, warm welcome and refreshments in the garden, to a beautiful and well decorated room, great facilities, exquisite... more

My husband and I stayed at Cranmoor House along with our 8month old baby and my parents as we were in the area for a wedding. We needed a B&B that would serve an evening meal, (I missed out on this, but according to my family it was top-notch.) The rooms are clean, fresh and careful thought has gone into... more

We (my mother-in-law and I) had an excellent 5 night stay with Steve and Jan. It was just like staying with friends. Our rooms were so comfortable, with everything you could want - super coffee machine; hairdryers and straighteners, cuddly dressing gowns; a kettle with a large selection of teas. The bathroom was small but very cute with a stunning... more

As someone who travels for a living I've stayed in a lot of places, and I have to say Cranmoor House is right up there with the best. The rooms are very tastefully furnished with some very thoughtful touches - a jug of fresh milk for the tea and coffee - and the welcome is very warm and friendly without... more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and found Steve and Jan to be exceptionally friendly. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated with an en-suite with an impressively high tech shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities with nice touches such as fresh milk, in a fridge in the room, two comfy chairs, and a... more

Spent a memorable evening here for a 60th birthday celebration. We received a very warm welcome at Steve and Jan's beautiful home and had one of the best meals I've eaten in years! Highly recommended! more
